In Checkpoint 57, you take the role of a newly assigned officer stationed at a remote checkpoint deep within the woods. Isolated, quiet, and surrounded by endless trees, it feels like just another ordinary night on duty until subtle unease begins to creep in. Something about the road… the people who pass through… and the silence that follows, feels wrong.
Your task is simple: check each vehicle, verify documents, and keep the town safe. But as the night drags on, doubts start to grow. How well do you really know the people crossing your checkpoint and what are they hiding?

The Antagonist looked like Michael Myers 💀💀
This one was really fun! I loved the beginning especially, and reviewing everyone's papers to make sure they match. That was a ton of fun. The jump scare of the ranger got me GOOD, and the creepy subplot with the campers was awesome!
I do think the ending was probably my least favorite part because it felt like there was SO much good tension and leadup to a payoff that didn't make as much sense to me? However overall I'd definitely still say this was an AWESOME game to playthrough.
Checkpoint 57, you assume the role of a lone night-duty officer stationed at a remote forest checkpoint. Your job is initially straightforward: monitor the road, check travellers’ documents, maintain order.  But the atmosphere quickly shifts — isolation, strange occurrences, and an unsettling silence build up the tension until you realize something far darker lurks behind the scenes.

Amazing short horror game with some great scares! I do think the sound was a bit buggy but overall great job!
fun task orientated horror game, i loved not letting anyone through, i got to keep all the snacks.
why does it keep on repeating over and over again? fix ur game it was cool but not after the fact that i couldnt get passed a certain point...
Game's fairly familiar to Papers, Please. But I like how you start paying attention to what the drivers are saying and the vibe around the checkpoint. I just wish there was a checkpoint before the ending.

I loved it, started off very routine checking cars and verifying documents, then as game progressed you become very suspicious of some drivers. Atmosphere was eerie and sounds were great. See my playthrough here:

What a cool little game this was! Never really see horror games based on running a checkpoint so this definitely takes the cake. Looking at ID's to see if they match or not with certain details, allowing or disallowing people from going through. This was really well made and felt really immersive! Made a video on it.

From start to finish, this game was well done! I loved the voice acting over the radio, it was a bit weird getting used to that sound after the subtitles were displayed but everything else was great! Nice work
